She began her reselling journey in December 2022 and quickly developed a passion for curating stylish, on-trend pieces that resonate with fashion lovers everywhere.

Through resale and consignment fashion, Kia D discovered a powerful way to blend her creativity and love for unique style, by presenting fashion through creating distinctive “no-lens” fashion frames. Yolanda Brown is the creative force behind Closet Collab Boutique and EarLume Ear Candy, turning recycled fashion into bold, one-of-a-kind designs. From upcycled clothing to handcrafted statement earrings, her pieces tell stories and bring confidence to the women who wear them.

With over 20 years of thrifting experience and 30 years as a designer, Yolanda grew Closet Collab Boutique during the pandemic, drawing inspiration from Thrifting Atlanta, her first selling platform. Often called a “jack of all trades,” she is also an event planner and cosmetic creator, currently working on an innovative invention.

Passionate about making women feel beautiful and special, Yolanda has produced multiple fashion shows and is thrilled to relaunch her work with the Creative Project Fashion Extravaganza on September 20 — her birthday.

My love for thrifting started when I was young, wandering thrift store aisles with my mom as she searched for that missing piece to the incredible costumes she made for my brother and me. Those trips were magic—a chance to turn something forgotten into something special. As I grew older, thrifting became more than a hobby; it became a passion, my quiet space to slow down, and a resource to support women in need. 

One day, several years ago, while scrolling through Facebook I came across a live sale and thought the joy and healing I found in thrifting could be shared with others. I resell thrifted and bargain finds not only to promote sustainable style, but to offer dignity, confidence, and a fresh start for the buyer as well as the person in need.  Proceeds from every live sale supports the needs of domestic violence victims and programs that empower women to rebuild their lives.

I am Joyce Loures-Jackson—Burkina Faso roots, Greenville, SC raised. A fashion reseller, stylist, and designer, I’m the creative force behind the upcycle brand Sloppee SeKundz.

Fashion runs through my veins. With a mother and great-grandmother who were seamstresses, design was my inheritance. I later earned a Bachelor’s in Fashion Merchandising and International Business, and built a career spanning retail management, visual merchandising, styling, and entrepreneurship.

My true passion lies in reimagining garments—blending unmatched fabrics, bold embellishments, and unexpected textures into pieces that are one-of-a-kind. Over time, what I created for myself caught the eye of other fashion lovers, and Sloppee SeKundz was born. My signature style: street funk with a twist of glam and Afro Funk.

My mission is to design garments and accessories that make women stand out—pieces that not only transcend trends but can be mixed, styled, and treasured for years. As a Mistress of Upcycling, I empower women of all sizes to look good, feel good, and embrace the confidence of knowing no one else is adorned in the same creation. Through high-energy live shows and personal shopping, Misty has built a community where fashion equals freedom, laughter, and confidence.
